Kubeadapt MCP

Connect your AI tool

Add Kubeadapt MCP to Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Zed or any MCP client. Sign in with your Kubeadapt account; no API keys.

Every AI tool connects to the same server and signs in the same way. Pick yours for the exact steps.

What happens when you sign in

The first time your AI tool needs Kubeadapt data, it opens a Kubeadapt page in your browser:

  1. Sign in to Kubeadapt, the same way you sign in to the app. If you belong to more than one organization, choose the one to connect.
  2. Choose what the tool may read. Pick the kinds of data (Costs and carbon, Savings, Alerts, Network costs) and either all the clusters you can see or specific ones. All clusters you can see includes clusters you are given access to later.
  3. Select Allow Access. Kubeadapt sends you back to your AI tool, which can now answer questions.

The connection lasts as long as your organization allows, 90 days unless an admin chose otherwise. After that, your AI tool asks you to sign in again.

Check that it works

Ask your AI tool:

Which of my Kubernetes clusters cost the most this month?

It calls get_context to find your clusters, then query_costs, and answers with the spend, the window and how the figures were measured. Your new connection, and each tool call it makes, appears under Settings → Kubeadapt MCP.
