Kubeadapt MCP

Connect Gemini CLI

Add Kubeadapt MCP to Gemini CLI with one command, sign in with /mcp auth, and ask about Kubernetes costs, savings and alerts from your terminal.

Connect Kubeadapt to Gemini CLI to ask about your clusters, costs and recommendations from the terminal.

Add Kubeadapt

bash
gemini mcp add --transport http kubeadapt https://mcp.kubeadapt.io/mcp

  1. Start Gemini CLI and run:

    plaintext
    /mcp auth kubeadapt
  2. Kubeadapt opens in your browser. Sign in, choose the kinds of data and the clusters Gemini CLI may read, and select Allow Access.

/mcp then lists Kubeadapt as connected, with its tools.

Ask Gemini CLI

Ask Kubeadapt which clusters have the most idle capacity in dollars this month, and what it would take to reduce it.

Disconnect

Run gemini mcp remove kubeadapt, or end the connection under Settings → Kubeadapt MCP → Connections in the Kubeadapt app.
